Perfectly Fulfilled Prophecies

Preface

PRE-P01

People have predicted the end of the world for almost 2,000 years, but none of these predictions has been actualized. Some so-called prophets of God or Biblical scholars in the last twenty years have claimed some specific dates for the end of the world. These claims have circulated on the internet and several social media platforms, such as YouTube and Facebook. Some even prophesied that the world would end on 23 September 2016 or 23 September 2017. While these predicted times have already passed, the end has not yet come. So what is the true destiny of the world? Is there divine influence on the direction of the world and human affairs? Is the end of the world really possible?

PRE-P02

Having been a firm atheist before I came to the United States in 1988, I started to believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) in 1993 when I was convinced by some Biblical prophecies. I received my Ph.D. in Physics from University of Zürich in 1997 under the supervision of Alex Müller who received the Physics Nobel Prize in 1987. Since 2002, I have been a physics professor in the field of condensed matter physics. I have published over 110 physics papers in highly reputed journals, including two Nature magazine articles (first author) and 12 invited book chapters.

PRE-P03

Prior to 2014, I had never seriously tried to write a book outside physics. During my sabbatical leave in that year, I had planned on writing a scientific book on the microscopic mechanism of high-temperature superconductivity, the subject I had studied for many years. But during dinner one day, a few Bible verses I had previously read about the resurrection of Yeshua struck me. I jumped up and told my wife that the Bible was wrong!! I explained to my startled wife that the most important prophecy about the resurrection of Yeshua, which was foretold by Yeshua himself, was not fulfilled at all. I was experiencing a crisis of faith!

PRE-P04

We have been told that Yeshua was crucified in the afternoon on Friday, buried just before sunset, and rose again before sunrise on Sunday. According to this, from the time of his burial to the time of his resurrection, there would have been only 36 hours at most. This is totally inconsistent with Matthew 12:38-40, "Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, master, we would see a sign from you. But he answered and said unto them, 'An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah: For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.'"

PRE-P05

Yeshua's own words clearly prophesized that he would be three days and three nights (72 hours) in the grave just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the fish's belly. If this crucial prophecy were not fulfilled, Yeshua would not be the Messiah and the foundation of Christianity would completely collapse.

PRE-P06

My heart for seeking the truth motivated me to investigate this issue thoroughly. I then started to search the Internet for any discussion on this issue. Indeed, I found numerous discussions, and the majority have attempted to maintain the traditional Friday crucifixion and Sunday resurrection. Few have raised objections to the traditional view with the proposition of a Wednesday crucifixion and Saturday resurrection. After I carefully studied the Gospels and the Old Testament Scriptures for many hours, I eventually solved the mystery. I found that this prophecy was in fact fulfilled perfectly, and that the traditional view of Yeshua's crucifixion day was wrong and unbiblical. Since then, I have diligently and critically studied the Scriptures. Instead of writing my book on high-temperature superconductivity, I spent hours upon hours each day studying Biblical prophecies, the world's chronology and history, astronomy, and cosmology.

PRE-P07

Perhaps I was moved by the Spirit of God to study numerical prophecies in the Bible. The numerical prophecies are special prophecies with clearly stated numbers, such as prophetic periods. If the numerical prophecies are fulfilled perfectly, the prophecies must come from the true God who is the most powerful and above all things. There are several reasons for the superior credibility of the numerical prophecies. First, no human, under any circumstance, has his own power to predict any future event to happen at an exact time. Only a true and almighty god or deity would have the power to guarantee the perfect fulfillment of his own words foretold by his prophets. A prophecy from a less powerful god would be made void by the most-high God. Second, a numerical prophecy can have only one correct interpretation. Third, the probability for perfect fulfillments of over several numerical prophecies is nearly zero if these prophecies were not from the most-high God. In contrast, number-free descriptive prophecies are less credible. This is because the interpretations to the descriptive prophecies are quite subjective and could vary significantly with interpreters. These prophecies could even be fulfilled apparently in fabricated stories by someone who would attempt to establish a false religion. For these reasons, only the prophecies containing numerical information can be used to prove or disprove a true religion that comes from the most-high God.

PRE-P08

For almost four years, I have diligently studied Biblical prophecies and chronology, as well as the history of the Middle East, of Europe, and of China. I have also investigated the Hebrew, Babylonian, Islamic, and Chinese calendars, as well as Enoch's calendar. I have been able to determine the true Biblical chronology that aligns perfectly with historical records and other secular chronologies such as the Chinese chronology. I have precisely reconstructed the Chinese chronology back to 2716 BC by taking advantage of the astronomical phenomena recorded concurrently with corresponding historical events. With an uncertainty of less than 6 months, the Chinese chronology I have constructed aligns perfectly with all the astronomical phenomena. One remarkable discovery is that the year of Noah's flood in our Biblical chronology is the same as that of China's "great flood," which took place in the 61st year of Emperor Yao, who will be introduced later in this book.

PRE-P09

With these accurate chronologies in hand, I can clearly show that all the Biblical numerical prophecies have been perfectly fulfilled. I have also unveiled the prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled by making an end-time chronology. The true destiny of the world can be found from these end-time prophecies that are based solely on the Bible.

PRE-P10

The perfect fulfillments of the Biblical numerical prophecies tell us that Yehowah, the most-high God of the Hebrew Bible, is the most-high God of the universe, orchestrating the history of the whole world. The direction of the whole world has been and will continue to be influenced by the most-high God.
